Todd Adams

Chief Operating Officer

Todd  Adams is the Chief Operating Officer for The Resource Group. In this role, Todd  leads all medical/surgical and pharmacy supply chain operations. In addition, Todd leads the Surgical Support Services Community which serves as a horizontal solution to connect case scheduling, instrument and supply consumption tracking, sterile processing, preference card management, revenue cycle, and equipment management to enhance service to caregivers and improve the surgical experience. This includes managing a team of associates dedicated to consistent, high quality, and cost-effective operations with respect to procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, receiving, and supply distribution functions. Outside of these immediate responsibilities Todd provides oversight to the Master Data Management Community as well as Purchased Services Management. 

Todd previously served as Vice President of Ascension Operations for Michigan, which includes St. John Providence Health System, Genesys Health System, Borgess Health, St. Mary’s of Michigan and St. Joseph Health System.

Todd came to The Resource Group from Trinity Health Supply Chain Management, focusing on inventory, logistics, operational efficiencies, system integration, and system deployments. He also has held global leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry while working for Pfizer and Sanofi-Aventis. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Saint Joseph’s University (PA). Todd completed the Ascension Executive Ministry Leadership Formation Program in 2016 and is currently enrolled in the Ascension Leadership Academy, with an expected completion date in 2022.  Todd also volunteers his time serving on the Board of Directors for CCB Packaging based in Hiawatha, Iowa and the Howard University Supply Chain Management Advisory Board.
